I am with Doc, what's going to happen to the Mexican place that's less than a year old. Are you sure they are not going into the bank on Jefferson or in the torn down potion of the building next to Sullivan's

Checkers is fine but their competition is Wendy's McDs and BK.
How about we work out a trade? You can have all the Checkers in Atlanta and send me one Jack and one Whataburger.

I've never had Smashburger, but Burgersmith is the tits.

burgersmith is about as bland as it gets...Oh you're a burger place and I can't tell you how I'd like my burger cooked?
so far we've got Fat Cow, Moo Ya, Cheeburger, Times, Burgersmith, I'm sure I'm missing a few.

Cooked ground meat formed into a patty. Put it on a bun with whatever you like on it. I just don't see where any of these places have a magic burger.
Riverside Patty gives you a giant piece of unseasoned meat burger, and Tramonte's uses a whole can of Tony's on each of their gigantic meatloaf burgers. Aside from those places and maybe a few more, you can get a tasty burger at a zillion other BR places.

I tried that Bull Chicks on Coursey other day. It was pretty bad, but price was decent for lunch special.
Count me in the corner that likes Burgersmith.

Wasnt there a thread a while back about a Rallys opening in the gas station out front of Motiva? Did this ever happen?

I like Smashburger more than I like Five Guys.
it's all about the smash technique. it gets a better sear (and therefore better flavor) than anything I've ever gotten at five guys.
I've never ordered fries at five guys though so I can't comment on that. I always get a pile of free peanuts instead.

I rank them Smash > Mooyah > Five Guys. Mooyah also does a smash technique.

Love their menu, the chicken sandwiches and hot dogs are great too.
Smash>>Five Guys

I think there's also a Red Robin coming so add that to the list. I've never eaten at one though.

Never had rally's before, thinking about trying it in covington this weekend. Any good? How are the fries?

They are the battered kind (or however they are made).
I hate them, but lots of people really like them.

Apparently you didn't read my post on page one.

I had it in Roseville, CA close to Sacramento. Wasn't bad. Reminded me of Five Guys.

Smashburger is okay, but not a go to burger joint imo.

Red Robin has some bad arse burgers and their thick steak fries with seasoning are fricking good. Shakes are good as well.
