My premiums went up exactly 0%.
How is this possible? Is the VC firm who owns my company in bed with Pelosi & Obama?
Also, weren't all the doctors supposed to retire?

Tell us about your deductables.
Also, did you get a $2,500 savings?

You got lucky?
I have the option of keeping my $64 a month $2,500 deductible plan for one more year (at $70) or I can move to an Obamacare compliant plan for $207 a month with a $5,000 deductible. After next year, I'll be forced onto the new plan.

Weird nobody's running on how great this is, if you're typical.

That's it I am voting democrat from here own out, everyone of my friends who vote democrat premiums did not increase, but all of my republican friends premiums have all increased or have changed in some kind of way including mine.
Even my democrat co-workers have not changed, but mine did? how can this be?

Are you on subsidies?
If not, then you are very lucky. Majority of Americans have had their premiums increase.
And if they haven't already yet, just wait until the mandate kicks in in 2015. You know, the mandate that was supposed to kick in, in 2013, but was postponed until after these midterms. I wonder why that is?

The biggest negative has been physicians leaving networks due to the ACA.

Your trolls are usually better than this. Not by a lot, but still better.

My premiums didn't go up either...
My deductible tripled....
My out of pocket max increased 75%......
So in summation.....

Plus that's the excuse the boss will use to turn down that next proposed pay raise, and rightfully so.

I'm with the guy who's wondering why Dems are screaming from the mountaintops how awesome Obamacare is that they voted for.
They might be trouncing the R's right now if so amiright?

We just got the open enrollment package at the Company I work for. We saw a 12% across the board increase, but all deductibles and coverage remained the same.
I have Employee & Family coverage and last night the wife and I sharpened our pencils and decided to move from the PPO plan to the High Deductible plan to offset the increase. We rarely go to the doctor, so hopefully we won't notice the change. The Company 'seeds' $1,000 per year into the HSA if you have a High Deductible plan. That'll help.
I'll be honest, I was expecting more of an increase, so I'm pleasantly surprised, if one can be happy about a 12% increase. We were, after all, told that we'd be saving $2,500 a year on healthcare. I'm still waiting on that to materialize.

Mine increased 10%, I consider myself to be incredibly lucky. My company changed providers from Cigna to BCBS of Illinois. My company is private and was very open about taking a hit to foot the majority of the premium increases as a benefit to us, the employees.
My in-law's family are very open liberals on the East Coast. NYC employer of one of the cousins dropped healthcare benefits this year, and the husband of said cousin is a 1099 employee, therefore they have been forced to go to the exchange to purchase their insurance for young family with one child and another on the way. Never thought I would hear her trash Obama, but she was very upset with having to pay $1000/month for a very crappy plan that didn't include any of their doctors. She is pregnant and had to switch OBs, and their 18 month old had to switch pediatricians. She expressed remorse for supporting the ACA without truly understanding the real life impact it would have on millions, now including herself.

I hate to take delight in other's pain but in this circumstance not so much especially from someone that admittedly supported something without knowing a thing about it.

Same. But since I love her and she's family, I just told her how sorry I was to hear about it, as well as expressing that I have heard the same from many. She couldn't even get a sonogram of current baby until 14 weeks because they couldn't get coverage. Bad situation.
ETA: She already knows where I stand on the ACA so there was no point in rubbing her nose in it.
