MJ's prediction: Right now I say it's 50/50 that we even have a 2016 Presidential election.
NCT's prediction is that 50% of MJ's prediction is 100% wrong.

What did Clinton do to create that peace and prosperity, besides fall arse backwards into it?

We have had a Presidential election every four years since 1792, even during the Civil War. What could possibly happen to keep us from having a Presidential election in 2016? The end of the world? The Second Coming? 50-50 chance of no election? Most irrational prediction I have heard lately.

Cruz over hildawg

Then 8 years of talking about Hilary's 2024 chances. They'll run her as a corpse if they can

What makes you think Hilary is going to govern like bill?

It's sad how people think they're getting bill voting for Hillary.

Hillary Clinton is an overrated candidate who is gaffe-prone.

I predict it will be expensive.

I predict a lot of people who can't earn a living otherwise will be paid to figure out ways raise money from working people.

Do you really think Hillary understands the importance of working hand-in- hand
with a Republican majority in Congress ?

What circumstances do you foresee that might lead to the U.S. not having a Presidential in 2016? My hypothetical nuclear disaster?

Ground game beats money any day. Rand Paul will win in a Randslide over O'Malley.

OK, I will change the hypothetical since I am hurting for responses in that thread.

Man that sucks, so if you're correct our only choices are going to be:

Managed Decline

v.

Rapid Decline

2016 Presidential Election prediction thread: enter your thoughts and update
The aristocrats (thanks genro) will put Hillary in for eight years.
That'll make 16 years since a Bush was in office. The sheople will then accept Jeb Bush for the office for the next eight years.

And I'll continue to be morbidly entertained at how they continue to actually believe Presidents are "elected" in this country.

Clinton-O'Malley vs. Rubio-Portman

Clinton in a Reagan 1984 landslide.

That's never ever going to happen again in our lifetime. Electoral college domination like that is a once in multiple generations event. It was so dominant that it resonated all the way to the 88 elections. Ronald Reagan was genuinely well liked even amongst some democrats. Hillary fricking Clinton doesn't have that luxury and even some of her own party doesn't like her.

It would take somebody like Rick Santorum or Bill DeBlasio to enable the other ticket to win a landslide like that and Rubio-Portman are nowhere near the lightning rods those two are.
