My uncle used to own a TV repair shop. Now you just throw the old TV out and buy a new one.

To actually go into a gas station or store and pay for the gas you pumped.
Check the fluid level in your car battery.
Go outside and turn TV antenna until you had a clear picture or have aluminum foil on your TV's "rabbit ears."

Use bottle/can opener to punch holes in your soft drink can before you could drink it.
