I was not commenting on this situation. I was speaking in general about the double standard. I have not made a single comment about the cops' actions in this situation.
And I'm speaking about both this situation and your supposed double standard. So answer the question.

I didn't remember exactly how the guy got off.
Imagine that. A cop defender claiming ignorance when he's proven wrong. I wonder where you learned that tactic.

Does it really matter though?
Yes bootlicker, it does matter. The guy was arrested. He went to jail. He faced prosecution. He was acquitted because there were no witnesses, no murder weapon was found, and no gunshot residue was found on him.
Meanwhile, the stiffest consequence, if any at all, the shitty cops caught on video in the growing number of instances like this one will face is a paid vacation pending an internal investigation.

In tired of wasting my tax dollars on these scum of shite TPOS cops...they are starting to become some of the most unamerican groups out there with all these blatant and Wilde abuse of the laws and our rights

Tired of paying for their paid leave after they kill the people we pay them to protect.
I wish holder would serve out his term to reform our nation's police force.

Yeah, if I said what I really thought about cops these days, I'd be banned with the quickness.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate their service and their sacrifice. But they must upload themselves to the law of the land if they expect the citizens to do that. A corrupt police force/stat trickles down to unlawfulness everywhere. If the bearers of the law don't respect it, why should its constituents?
It does nothing to breed trust between citizens and cops. They are better than this and we should really expect more from them because their are MANY cops out there doing the right thing

but if he just stopped and talked to them this wouldn't have happened.
can you think of anything else that would have kept this from happening?
maybe if something had occurred involving the officers earlier? (use your imagination)

Pussification. It was a punch, who fricking cares? If you don't want to get fricked up by the police don't break the law/resist arrest. Maybe the tpos that got punched learned his lesson.
As long as he doesn't have any serious injuries I'm completely ok with it.

"Hands up Don't Pistol Whip"
I bet most police departments had the resources for PR "spin" departments on the caliber of NYPD.

If I have race you and risk my life chasing you down in a dark alley, you better hope I don't catch your arse. fricker will stay put next time.

Nothing necessarily justifies cops using that much force but it sure seems rare that cops are beating the shite out of completely innocent people.
Huh? Maybe the cops should realize why a 16 yr old feels he needs to run! If what they did is ok, then why not just shoot him when they catch up?
Bottom line: When you catch up to a criminal who is standing with his hands in the air, arrest him, that's your job. If you do more, I'm fine with it, but you should expect to lose your job and face charges.

In this case you see tax dollars at work. Paid officers take a young criminal who likely has just victimized somebody and provide the arse kicking and eliminating the need for the victim to have to get their hands dirty.
Let's give a bunch of power-tripping people guns, the power of arrest, and practical immunity then encourage them to beat up people who piss them off.
What could possibly go wrong?

It's amazing how many people on this board are just fine with the police thuggery status quo. By the way the article talks about how the pistol whip knocked/cracked a couple of teeth. I'm sure my tax dollars will settle this though.
