Started with almost 17k, down to about 4200 less than three years after graduation. And yeah they bug the hell out of me too, but I only have a 3.75 interest rate so I'm not getting killed with interest

Combined between my wife's and my own, about $140,000. Just over $30k is mine.

0. Tops covered most of undergrad, my savings account covered the rest. Worked full time through grad school and paid it in cash when it was due. Paying wife's professional school in cash now. Feel very fortunate compared to her classmates, who all have 100k+ in loans.

Zero. Charity Hospital School of Nursing was tuition-free. I worked when I took prerequisites and paid the tuition up front.

$0.
Very fortunate to have a father who paid for it all.

Have 51,000 left. Started with close to 90K. Was able to refi in early 2000s to 2.25% so not bad on the interest part.

$0
I figured out how much it was going to cost to get my degree and saved up before starting school, while I worked part time waiting tables and teching at the hospital the last 4 years. I'll graduate with a nursing degree in December debt free.

Somewhere over $10,000, should be paid off in the next few years.

How much do you owe and how much does it bother you?
I'm 38 and had a full academic scholarship to LSU back in the days before TOPS. It came with an on campus part time job and that helped.
My parents helped me out with the rest of the money I needed and I will always be grateful for that.
I'm really glad I wasn't in debt graduating from college. The only debt I have now is my mortgage, but that's typical for someone in their 30's.
