Yep, I'm going to read through that manual you posted and get some info on the spacing, we live in a townhouse with limited space, so it's either where they sit now, or the opposite wall which would have windows almost right behind the speakers. when I get the stands I might set it up on both walls and see what works best. The opposite wall with the windows should fit the spacing requirements but I wonder how the windows will affect sound quality.

The tulip stands are readily available in black but I'm adamant about having chrome ones, my dad had a set but they were stored in a crappy shed and were thrown out years ago because of rust and the chrome flaking.

Since buying my PS Audio gear I’ve been lurking their forum and today they posted pictures of their upcoming speaker line. These will be their entry level offering at $10-$12K. Wow!

The new PS speaker cabinet samples have just been delivered. These are for the entry level AN3 which we hope can get out the door between $10K and $12K the pair. 4-way system with AMT tweeters, AMT midrange, 8" midbass coupler, 12" servo controlled subwoofer and DSP control of both woofers. Check out the 2" thick front baffle as well. Thinking of redoing the bodies in an off white instead of black. Side trim pieces are removable. One in walnut, the other sample in piano black.

Just wanted to bump my favorite thread. Also, I purchased a pair of Kef LS50 Wireless speakers a few weeks ago. I have to say I'm amazed at these things. I'm not the audiophile most of you here are; however, I know what I like and I love these speakers. I have them paired with a small Definitive Technologies subwoofer and the blended sound is fantastic. They are fairly expensive, but I don't think you can put together a better system of separates for the price.

I’ve been stuck on Pink Floyd for a couple of weeks now. I have a Bang & Olufsen system in my car and at the end of the day on the way home I crank up Comfortably Numb.

I'd really like to hear some Kef speakers in person. Especially their Reference line. Those LS50's are definitely cool looking.

Wish I could come man. Maybe I'll get down for one of these one of these days and a weekend of food and drink in NOLA. There are some restaurants down there I need to get to soon.

Ok. My record addiction has gotten out of control. I'm now having dreams at night being in record shops flipping through albums. I've hit 2-3 different shops each day this week. I may need an intervention.
