You know what's really bullshite was that they depicted the noble cat defending his master's house as the bad guy. That mouse was an thieving, trespassing, property-destroying a-hole.

My kids fell in love with Tom and Jerry. Watching the cartoons with them, it was very apparent that they cut out some scenes.

Seriously dude? You may be irredeemable. Maybe you should just say "I don't understand racism" and keep quiet.

If you think about it, kids watch these cartoons and pick up these things.

Ah, good ol mammie two shoes. She was the housekeeper for several episodes.

I never thought of her as the housekeeper as there were episodes where she was the homeowner.

I bought my kids some DVDs from Wal-mart with the old school Tom & Jerry.

They love it.

But ... when you start the DVD ... you have to listen to friggin' Whoopi Goldberg give some long as diatribe to the children about how racist and shite T&J is.

I told my boys to ignore that shite and just enjoy some damn good cartoons.

Now for real cartoon racism you can go back to Betty Boop.

I love the old Betty Boop cartoons.

Most of them were made for adults not children and they were the original music "video" because she always sang a song in every one of them.

And that sexy little outfit she always wore was quite stimulating too.
