quote:

There is likely to be yet another Bush on America’s ballots in 2016; at least the Republican presidential primary ballot. It is reported by Politico that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has decided to run for president in 2016.

quote:

His campaign visits included summer stops on behalf of the Republican National Committee to raise money for Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, South Carolina and Kentucky Senate candidates. It has been noted by Bush-watchers that he is now traveling like a candidate and suddenly showing frequent availability to national media, unlike anything before last June.

Much like another political dynasty, the Clinton's, this Bush is establishing extensive political contacts for endorsements to build his own political base. More than likely his staff is copying the political playbook Hillary Clinton has been utilizing for the past six years.

Well, another guy named Bush will never be elected US president again in any of our lifetimes, so if he gets the republican nomination the next president is a democrat and our country is fricked.

The name "Bush" has become political poison. Dude might receive an honorable mention at the RNC in 2016.

So now we're at:

Jeb Bush
Chris Christie
Ted Cruz
Bobby Jindal
Rand Paul
Mitt Romney
Marco Rubio
Rick Santorum

maybe Ben Carson
maybe Paul Ryan
maybe Scott Walker

And I feel like I'm forgetting people (I'm going off memory, not Google or wikipedia).

Of the group I like Walker and Rubio but who knows if they'll have the money they need.

I have long wanted Jeb Bush to run. He is my current top choice for the nomination. I think Obama did a lot to make Bush 2 look a lot better than when he was leaving office in 2009. Bush the first was the probably the best president on foreign policy in our country's history. So I still carry a lot of goodwill for the Bushes despite W's last couple of years.
