1996 was the last time LSU beat an Auburn team in Auburn that finished above .500

That Auburn team finished the year 5-7 and lost to Alabama 36-0 to close it out.

The pick six that Lee threw in that game was pretty awful. He was good for one per game that season, but that pass has always haunted me....not really sure why.

The pass was a dead duck that Lee floated to his left that traveled all of 5 yards... right into the hands of the AU defender.

No way we run for 200 on Auburn this year. MSU stuffed our run game. It'll be worse against Auburn.

Les may not want to hear it, but we are not going to win a lot of SEC games this year unless the offensive approach is changed.

It was awful. It was a screen pass, and Lee actually pump-faked on the throw, which is a terrible, terrible idea on a screen. He gave the defender an extra second to get to where the ball was going.

Does anyone have a gif of Andrew Hatch stumbling off the field after his concussion? That was hilarious

It was thrown to a defensive end who had no clue where he was supposed to lineup, then all the sudden Lee inexplicably threw the ball right to him. I had no clue that this would go on to become such a trend down the road.

Auburn sucked that season. We should have beat them, their #10 ranking was largely overrated.

I think Auburn is overrated this year but not as bad as they were in 2008. I don't think we can beat Auburn on the road.

We were average

LSU beat 3-9 Auburn 12-10 in 2012. That's crazy.

Miles consistently plays down to Auburn no matter how bad the Barner team is or who is coach. It's one of his Achilles heals. You could make the case that he shrivels up against auburn and then somehow grows a pair against Alabama. He should apply the same killer instinct and attitude against all SEC teams that he does against BAMA.

I realize the W/L total and again that wasn't my point, and it has absolutey fricking zero to do with Nick Saban. He squeaks a win out win out even with uber talented teams or they stay close for 3 quarters. I think we raped them in 2011 but we beat everyone that year.
