One of my buddies just completed his PhD in Astrophysics... He just moved to Europe to study movement of stars or something badass like that. So awesome.

No, you ignorant moron.

I'm claiming that among his peers, astrophysicists, he isn't anywhere near the top of the game.

I had an opportunity to go work at the collider near Chicago. But baseball > math.

You should also mention Hawking always goes back and corrects his own work. He has proved himself wrong on just about everything he has claimed over his career. I give him kudos for that, though. Takes a man to come out over and over and admit he was wrong.

She claims that as a star dies, it releases a type of radiation known as Hawking radiation - predicted by Professor Stephen Hawking.

I'm sorry but how can one claim something that cannot be verified?

Of course they exist, and I don't need the Hubble telescope to show me one:

This is interesting. I mean clearly there are quite a few variables and I'd want other leading thinkers on the subject to chime in with their thoughts and analysis, but so far... Gotta say, I think I'd hit it.

I bit so hard on this until the last sentence. Very well played.

Scientist claims she has mathematical proof black holes cannot exist

Seems to me like belief in black holes is faith based. How am I wrong on that?

Anyway, I'm here for the science part. I've always had interest in the stars.

Eta: yes I think black holes exist, I'm just making a point
