What are we looking at as far as an OD lineup?
Aoki
Simmons
Markakis
Freeman
Johnson
Upton
Bethancourt
Callaspo

Scrappy or not that is fricking terrible.

Offense can't get much worse than last year. Pitching will be better. I'm not saying they're WS favorites but all this talk of the worse team ever in the history of MLB is a little far fetched.

I definitely think the pitching staff is more talented. No guarantee you are going to get better results though.

Offense marginally worse. Probably not a 100 loss team unless Freeman gets hurt and/or they trade Kimbrel.

Even then, how many saves would a different closer blow? Unless we're talking Dan Kolb here.

If anyone knows about bad Braves baseball, it's this guy. Amirite?

There is still a lot of time until the trade deadline. It will be obvious at that point if we'll need Craig or not. The asking price goes through the roof at that point for a team making a late playoff push. I don't think for one moment that the comment about not trading Craig and building around him for the next 10 years was anything other than posturing to drive the price up.

Not to mention.........I don't think it's even possible to build around a closer

We are going to be way short of last year's payroll.

Bob Wickman was a boss at blowing saves as well.

Aoki signs with Giants for 4 mil.

Really wish we could have got him to play LF and hit leadoff especially at that price. The amount of FA outfielders are pretty damn thin. Rasmus is the only decent option left.

At this point, go all in for Yoan Moncada with the promise of everyday MLB playing time.

Short if that, I still like Ichiro as a veteran who can bat lead off and his chase for 3000 hits provides something to watch. If he has a good first half, swap him off to a contender for prospects.

I think we'll be rolling the dice on who gets to play 2nd this year.
