I sent a picture to a friend and several texts to others throughout the game. AT&T. Maybe the cell phone gods were just shining on me.

What else does someone need other than sending receiving texts during the game. Especially with the look ins and score updates.

I have two phones-one on AT&T and one on Verizon. The AT&T one was unusable as usual (like it often is day to day), Verizon was markedly worse than last year. If AT&T would spend 10% of the money they are spending opening retail locations on adding towers maybe they would be worth a shite.

When was the last time they opened a retail store in Baton Rouge? They spend like 20 billion on their network last year alone. It won't be fixed overnight but they are working on it.

Plot a map of their stores along the Perkins Road corridor alone and you tell me why they need that many. Close 50% of the retail locations and use that rent and payroll to where there's actual working coverage in the areas where all those stores are. Can't get a signal in any number of major residential areas.

Two stores that aren't even owned by AT&T. They are privately owned.
The problem with nice neighborhoods and surrounding areas is that they don't want a huge tower in their backyard.

Does anyone know what all those new antennas are for ringing the the top of the stadium? There's one for each section, they look like speakers but aren't.

IDGAF. They are licensed to sell their phones and service. And large COMPANY owned stores in the Mall and on Seigen. The point is, the company continues to push sales of handsets and service like there's no tomorrow, and there isn't enough current coverage nor bandwith already, so they are just making the service increasingly worse, not better. The no towers in neighborhoods excuse is also lame, there are many spots available near those neighborhoods. I'm sorry the company you work for sucks so bad.

NO. I have Iphone5S and ATT service. At game, no text, no internet (tried to check other scores), and no texts until sometimes worked in second half after most of the crowd had left. Pretty pathetic. The result is that you pay $150 a ticket to be entrapped for 4 hours with no communications. LSU needs to fix this now!

texts and calls worked for me but no internet. AT&T service in southeast ez. I use a windows phone though I don't know if that mattered any.

Chill out. Enjoy the game and get your money's worth. You youngsters are so damn dependent on your phones you can't enjoy life. If its that important stay home staring at your phone.
