Obviously a guy who didn't grow up a lsu fan or is 12 years old... Can't fault him if the latter

I'm 23. And I think Booger left when I was like 8? So I think 12 is a bit extreme.
So on one hand I could see someone not knowing who he is for that reason I guess...BUT If you watch old LSU games or just know who some of the teams best players are it's really hard to justify not knowing Booger.

UnAnon graduated with QT, Lamar Louis & Dural. So he was only about 5 when Booger was drafted. Y'all are cold blooded.

I do too. But not everybody starts as young as us. Fans that started liking LSU at 20 are still fans, no less.

Good times - it was like having 2 players in 1 body at times - the only really comparable DT since then, for us, was Glen Dorsey.

Booger and then Jarvis Green - kind of put LSU on the map a generator of D-linemen to the NFL.

I'm sure there were some before them though. But those are the ones I remember well.

In the modern era, you had Leonard Marshall and Ramsay Dardar drafted in 1983 - that kind of opened things up. Karl Wilson, Henry Thomas and Roland Barbar went in 1987, Kenny Davidson in 1989, Karl Dunbar and Clint James in 1991, Marc Boutte in 1992, Gabe Northern (played LB for us, DE in the pros) in 1996, Mixon and Wiley in 1998, then Booger in 1999. Beginning with the 2000 draft, we've had 20 players drafted as either DTs or DEs.

I know who Bert Jones is. Billy Cannon. Friggin YA Tittle. It's no different. Shameful to not know who Booger McFarland is.
