why didn't he just shoot him in the leg or arm and wound him?

I agree, but all the cop haters here think that anytime a cop shoots someone they should just to wound, so why shouldn't it be any different for a homeowner

I have never had a problem with police shooting someone armed with a deadly weapon who is threatening them.
Kind of think it's better for the taxpayers if they kill them.

They had kids when this guy was both 14 and 15 and she was 22 and 23?!
That's the bigger story here

Interestingly enough, some feel guns are used in defense more than a few dozen times per year.
Perhaps as many as 2.5 million times a year.
Though I admit I can't vouch for the reputation of the Northwestern University School of Law or the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology.

Because it proves this method of prevention works. Unfortunately, without a gun in today's, you're a sitting duck. And it doesn't matter where you live.

Oh sure, "hey, burgler, hold still for a minute, I need to shoot your arm". BANG! "Ok, thanks, now that's done, will you sit here while I call the police? You want a sandwich or anything?"

Or she had kids with someone previously is the more likely scenario.

I have no problem with a cop shooting someone if he's forced into his house at gunpoint or if he is drawn on first in a situation that HE HIMSELF DID NOT INSTIGATE.

I hope it happened outside so he didn't get his house dirty.

You're in the house with an armed gunmen and your wife and 3 children are inside. Dome shots for that piece of shite.
