I was at that game. Not a dry eye in the house. Appreciated the 'horns for acting like human beings for once.

Didn't go to the game, but that whole tragedy is the first time I can remember ever seeing my dad cry.

God we needed that win badly

My old man left in the middle of a business meeting and drove to CSTX as fast as he could to help in any way he could.

He said the traffic from all the Ags doing the same thing made the highway come to a crawl. Stuff like that is why I love Texas A&M.

September 2nd, 2012: Chipper Jones hits his final HR of his career, which was also a game winning walk off homerun that capped a 5 run 9th inning rally. Tears of joy for sure.

Most of the "My Wish" stories get me as well..

Because of what that season meant to Tuscaloosa and the state as a whole, I shed some when Bama won the title in NOLA. That's probably a big reason why we still adamantly defend the game against mulligan talk. A lot of people needed that type of magical season.

Rangers losing the 2011 World Series.

That was their only chance to win it.

Now the team is heading back to the cellar where they historically dwell every season. And I will not live long enough to see them win it.

Same for me. That was a special year. I hope to be fortunate enough to see a championship for Detroit in my lifetime.

Actual game events - none.

But almost did after this game- Atlanta - Dallas playoff game, Jan 4, 1981. We had that.
