yep. Just find a way to beat Wisconsin and we have an entire month to grow and gain plenty of experience.

Seriously, How the hell do you know what kind of vibe the team has? They haven't even played a freaking game yet! Some of you people really are out there. Reminds me of Bama fans.

Unless major injuries during fall camp I think Miles likes this team. Minimal distractions this offseason.

You right. Hunter is a freak.

Your post is jumping the gun a bit, but I like you, I like your enthusiasm. So much better than the typical Rant bitching.

Upvote for you.

Thanks Redfield I agree. The same Wagon fans that are doubting us will be the same ones who are saying they knew we could do it from the beginning.

this freshman class has a lot of focused, mature players it seems like that have a ton of talent.

OK...just don't expect me to try and talk you out of eating a bullet when youth costs a couple of games.

Like the planets are aligning again for LSU.

Really? On the road at Auburn and UF, two places where LSU hasn't had a ton of success. Final home game is at the beginning of November. A Thanksgiving night road game. Relatively zero experience at QB and WR.

I had a much better feeling about 2013. This is the most questions an LSU team has had since 2008.
Who is going to play QB? Will they have a play making WR? Can the D-line get any pressure on their own OR stop the run? There is certainly a lot of "potential" but very little evidence to indicate that this is the year. Sorry, just my objective opinion

It's hard to pin point what it is, but it's a Special vibe that this team is sending off. I hate jumping the gun from just a couple of days of practice, but dammit I haven't felt this good about us since 2011. I think we will make a big splash on the scene in Houston and people will have to take notice of us.

I'm not feeling it.

I'm feeling 3 or 4 losses.

Hope I'm wrong.

Not to be a nega-tiger, but everyone says the same crap every year. We have only won 2 titles, in recent times, so the odds are against you. I see us losing a solid 3 games. Just too much turnover the last 2 years.

I'm getting a lot of 2008 and 2009 LSU in this team. I expect 4 or 5 losses this season. I'm optimistic about the future though.

It's not negativity, it's having realistic expectations for a very talented but very young team.

With the inexperience on offense, I think 10-3 would be an incredibly successful year. I also think 2015 there is no excuse not to make the playoffs...

The schedule sets up nicely. Get by Wisconsin, then we have 4 straight home games. The Auburn/Florida road trip will be tough, but our young guys will have plenty of experience by then. I love this team's potential!

When has that ever stopped up from winning at most 10 games....and 2008 was more about the coaching than the players

Not sure how this is relevant to anything.

What does Thanksgiving have to do with anything? We usually play the day after.

Who is going to play QB?

Brandon Harris and/or Anthony Jennings

Will they have a play making WR?

Travin Dural caught a game winning touchdown pass against Arkansas last year. I'd say that was making a play. I'm sure you would argue otherwise.

I don't know. How did they fare in the bowl game?

just my dumbass opinion
