Grew up baptist but I really have no idea what church I align with. How did you find that truth?

As long as you aren't non-denominational it's all good.

Grew up Baptist and going non-denominational has been a great decision for my family.

I grew up Baptist. Wife raised Catholic. I went to Catholic church with her while we dated. Found "compromise" in Methodist church when we had our first son. I say "compromise" because while we were raised baptist/catholic, we both were not opposed to switching. She just didn't like the baptist methods and I the same for catholic. So we tried out Methodist churches and both felt comfortable attending.

I found one that is homophobic, xenophobic, waging war against women, and stuck in the 19th century, and realized that's the one for me

By going to a lot of them and picking which one I liked the most.

Asking myself this question is how I ended up Catholic.
Researching church history helped make my decision a lot easier.
FWIW, I was raised Baptist also.

I was raised sorta Catholic(twice a year variety).
Stopped going to church after I was a teenager.
Started going back to church(non denominational) when I was 28.

I find my values and views most closely align with baptist.

Is what they are teaching in line with what the Bible is saying? After that it comes down to personal preference and where you really feel that you will be a part of the church and not just an attender.
Don't get sucked into false teaching of prosperity gospel (i.e., if you obey God, he will make you rich and successful)

A couple of year ago. Alot of soul searching on my part and decided to go back to the Roman Catholic Church.

Grew up Baptist. Many of my beliefs and actions are based on baptist beliefs. I no longer go to a Baptist Church. Instead I go to what used to be an Assemblies of God but now claims no denomination other than to love and live as Jesus.

Raised catholic and can participate in Mass but do not like and now attend a non denominational.

I grew up baptist
Knowing that the bible was written by man and not personally believing that jesus was any thing more than a prophet(JMO) led me to a different kind of belief in God than most, but one that i am comfortable with.
Not sure i align with any church but i do enjoy the people and overall message

Jesus Christ would want you to be Catholic, it's really that simple.

To me, one of them has to be the "official" church. To me it comes down to only two possibilities - Catholic or Mormon.
I like the Mormon version of Christianity the best since it offers the most complete view that I have found of who we are, why we are here, and what is possible for us after this life.

The reformation was the greatest travesty in the history of civilization.
