Then there was the guy going around doing laundry and folding clothes while people slept. fricker never came to my house
Wait... What? Expand on this, please.

During the DTL deal, chicks were always trying to sleep at my place or get me to sleep at their places. Fooled around a bunch, but most of it was them and a friend or two just being scared and wanting a dude there with them.

There was also a guy who drove around in a white silverado with the sticker "Not the killer" for a while. IIRC, he lived on Alvin Dark

It has been said that there is another serial killer operating in the area (BR/Laffy/NOLA). Were lots of facts, just not sure if it isn't facts thrown together to support a hypothesis.
Though a NOLA East serial killer is starting to make sense to me.

there were rumors going around that BRPD was looking for a serial killer but I think they were all fake. I remember people talking about it for a week but never heard anything after that.

Don't they think DTL might have been responsible for another attempted murder in a town somewhere near BR? Happened years before he started killing in BR, but I've heard it was something like two teens were fooling around in a pickup in a graveyard when the guy was dragged out and attacked with a machete. Hacked his arm up pretty bad. I think they were able to get away though.

You're saying he is currently operating? What murders/incidents created that theory?

I remember hearing this right after the jogger was attacked while running the lakes earlier this year. As you said, never heard it again.

Yeah that's what it was

I've heard that. That's just a weird story all around.

Google Texas killing fields.
Kinda related and really interesting to say the least.

Yeah in the late 90's in Zachary I think

Yup, I forgot about the snuggling part of it. People would just wake up and find their laundry done. Weird, but I don't think they ever found out who it was.
I have heard a few things over the past two years that make me believe that another one is killing women in and around BR again. The stuff I have heard wasn't ever released, so people don't know about it(I'm not saying anything further). Very weird shite that was done to a few victims

Thats the theory. The way BRPD handled the DTL case they won't know it until he racks up a dozen bodies.
The NOLA one was linked together based on a certain time of year, similarities in victims, and cars ending up in bodies of water.
I'll see if I can find anything legit.

Slight hijack, but what, if anything, has ever been figured out with the murders in Welch/Roanoke area?

Interesting. The jogger case is really the only anomaly I can remember in the BR area recently. Everything else seems to be gang killings.

Found this 2003 story on "the snuggler".
Who wakes up with someone hugging them and says,"Who are you?" "I'm Steve." "I don't know a Steve."

The Texas Killing Fields is some True Detective-esque shite. Definitely seems like one guy has been doing it since all the victims except one match the same M.O. Freaking Carcosa is real.

The snuggler story is creepy, just the thought of someone being in your room and then leaving.
