Very high probability it was him.

You're laughing but it's true. Then a guy in a white single cab gmc moved into the victims house. He got harassed so much that he put a sign on the back of his window that said "not the killer"

The offshoot stories from the DTL case are almost as interesting as the case itself.

One of the townhomes I manage is right next to the Sharlo townhome where Charlotte Murray Pace was killed in. I get chills just looking at it when I see it. I've always wondered if the tenants knew they are living at a murder scene. I don't wanna be the one to tell them.

Yeah odds are it was him. 1 thing for certain is that it wasn't anyone from the electrical company.

And I'll never forget sleeping over at their house after that... Just downright eerie. His Mom was freaked and rightly so. If my friend went somewhere during the day, she would bring him and stay for a little while, then run some errands, then come back til he would leave. She would come get us wherever we were, if we were at some girls house with a group of people she would bring everyone back to their house and have the party there or whatever. If we were at my house or another friends house we would all go back to their house to sleep over instead of sleeping over at my house or wherever. Did anything to not be alone in that house. Can't blame her either.

Oh and whoever said google the Texas Killing Fields... I already have trouble sleeping... Now I know I'll be awake til the sun comes up. Thanks a lot.

Yeah that was him. He was using that as his way of baiting these women. I was in my second year at lsu at the time. This was also around the time that a college student would go to various dorm rooms to cuddle with the girls and do the girls laundry and such while they were asleep

Did anyone mention he followed one victim home from stalking her at the grocery store on lee/Perkins? Got in the house as she was unloading groceries.

Also I think one victim was running in the levy.

The IQ thing was important in sentencing. The jury deliberated over how he answered some test questions I recall. One person was holding back on the death penalty on the jury.

I was scared to leave the door unlocked putting the trash out on the curb even.

The way he silently stalked these women without ever being detected is amazing.

I was a white male, between 25-35, and I wore a size 12 shoe. Thanks to one of my co-workers, I was able to be eliminated by DNA testing. I always thought the task force should have given those of us who were suspected and eliminated some kind of credentials stating we were not the killer.

People are largely unaware of their surroundings for the most part. Until something bad happens to them, I would imagine most people just walk around oblivious to the world

I definitely don't ever think about some random person trying to get into my house to kill or rob me. I forget sometime that not everyone is a good ole boy like me until I read things like this and it keeps me up all night.

It was a scary time, especially if you were a woman with dark hair- that seemed to be his preference. There's also a few that they believe he killed, but can't prove, like Mary Ann Fowler and a nurse in Zachary. I take some pleasure in the fact that DTL was so scared on his way to Angola that he pissed on himself.

I think you're talking about Randi Mebruer. They confirmed it was him that killed her by matching his DNA to semen found in the trash can. They've never found her body.

Yeah, the Mary Ann Fowler story will forever freak me out. Was it DTL? Was it somebody else?

I think they were able to place DTL at the scene. At least close enough for it to be too much of a coincidence.

Bunch of idiots. then you bring up todd lee as a reason they shouldnt walk home and they dont even know who that is. Well there was a serial killer in br just a few years ago and you want to walk home drunk from tiger land by yourself?
