“After 31 years of coaching and teaching, I will step down from the profession to spend more time with my family and enter into other opportunities,” said Keiser, who in addition to serving as head coach taught health & physical education as well as economics. “Thirty-one years in coaching has taken a toll on me, my wife Leah, and my family, and it is time to change and fix these issues.

Was a good guy who did very well at Jesuit.

Was roommates w/ one of his sons in college and will be serving in my upcoming wedding. Wayde is a class act and as genuine as they come. Wish him the best

Odd timing
Indeed. Something had to have happened behind closed doors.

They should run to the west bank and grab Scot Bairnsfather. Great coach with no talent at Shaw.

Do it close to the season so you can kind of choose your successor... Just an assumption.

They'd laugh and put it straight into the shredder.

Very odd this "decision" happened" in July.
I would assume there is a lot more to this story/ but not sure if we will ever get the truth

Maybe he had a good weekend fishing?
Hope Jason Tucker applies... He coached under Keiser at Jesuit

a lot of the players were quitting because they hated Keiser. So i think maybe that had something to do with it, or maybe health concerns. He had gotten in a bad car accident at the end of school so maybe that played a part idk.

Nice guy but don't have a high opinion of him as a coach. This is when I played for him 10 years ago and haven't followed what he has been doing since.

i think jesuit is up there... maybe not THE best coaching job in the state, but it's up there
fanbase is great, the job probably pays a lot, the school's reputation and history is unmatched, and they produce recruits out of the talented kids they get. you can win, but it hasn't been done so much that expectations are unrealistic
now the negatives are being in the Catholic League from a schedule standpoint, Tad Gormley being old and decrepit, and it's still a baseball and soccer school... the last state title was 1960 and that's too long
