Lame list.
Albasha has the best Greek? Pfffft. I'd take Roman's or Kabob's any day. Their gyros is not on the same planet.

Sushi? No Waka House, no care.
Burgersmith? BAHAHAAAAA! They burnt the burgers for our whole table and I'll never be back. It's too close to Fat Cow to waste a dime at Burgersmith. Mooyah is better than them. Louie's burger is better too. What a joke.
Baton Rouge has great food. 225 is clueless.

I'm surprised that Chili's off of College didn't get any nods...They make some of the best food in BR. Chains>Local Joints

Lol. Sure they did. That's why Jasmine's on Jones Creek has an hour wait every weekend for a 2 top, but aren't even mentioned on the list.

I didn't get a poll. Maybe I need the app or something. Hard to believe a list with TJ ribs at the top. Hell of a thing.

Like everything not New Orleans to a "native New Orleanian" it will never measure up to the Nola version. What is "it" in question? Doesn't matter, if it's the New Orleans version it's the best to them

If you subscribe to the newsletter you got the opportunity to do the online survey.

Used to think it was biased, but based on what type of restaurants are packed around BR these votes don't surprise me.

My favorite of the list...Middendorfs trumps Latil's.

ETA: Also, Maison Lacour doesn't make any list.

As I said a couple of pages back, the voting part is a sham if an advertiser has already secured its place in a particular category. Spots on the list are part of advertiser contracts and used as incentives to bring in new clients.

Do you have direct knowledge of this or are you talking out of your arse? Because I was pretty close to how they did the list a few years ago....

Did you see the editors note, more people penciled in " None of the above" than the total number that voted for all council members combined.

There are several small taquerias in br that should be in the best Mexican food section.

Wat?

I know the original is in Lafayette, but that place does not qualify as a chain.

Should have been #1. Nowhere else do you get to eat delicious waffles and watch fist fights.

For all the shite br folks give lafayette, your city sure does like copying us.

Only 55 categories? We have over 160. Once again lafayette bests br.
