I just registered for my last class, ISDS 710. Anyone taking this course other than myself and DieDaily?

Does anyone have the course offerings for each term saved that they can send over? I'm having a tough time finding it.

Thanks in advance.

CajunPilot,

In Moodle, look to the side where your classes are displayed. There should be a tab that says MBA resource center. Course offerings and rotations should all be in there.

Got it, thanks!

Question for some of the people that are deep in the program;

I have a trip scheduled to Boston for Memorial Day to catch a couple of baseball games at Fenway. Which course would you recommend taking for Summer AP1, MADM 701 or MKT 701 (I must take one of them due to course rotation and schedule completion time). I will be somewhat flexible to get work done but was wondering if one was maybe less time consuming than the other?

MADM 701 - Kenneth Kungu
MKT 701 - Karen James

Suggestions for an elective?! I am doing data specialization so I get to choose one course - want something easy going if possible!

Also, I have the following courses left... Instructor and course advice greatly appreciated!

ACCT 701
FIN 701
MKT 701

ISDS 702
ISDS 710

Congrats Jeaux! The finish line is in site. I remember the Saturday night last December when I clicked the submit button on my last assignment in FIN 730. It was a great surreal feeling!

Just registered for the rest of the program for me:

BADM790 - PI - TBD
ACCT701 - McGee
MKT710 - Darrat
FIN701 - Vines
MADM760 - Meeks

Finishing up in Fall AP2 if all goes well. After the cluster of a time in MADM730 this term, I need some classes to restore my faith in this program which has quickly deteriorated recently.

If you see MKT 705 (Hospitality & Casino Marketing) offered, register for it. I'm in it now and it's on the same level as ISDS 705 as far as effort required. I'm doing the same thing as you (Date Analytics Specialization) and this class has actually been enjoyable due to the subject. Definitely worth checking out if you need an elective.

@socal You're really really fortunate to have gotten done in December. Not exaggerating when I say this program has taken a nosedive in quality since w/o textbooks.

@Tiger A lot of us feel the same. Unfortunate for those of us in the transition stage of no texts. I personally won't recommend the program to anyone else until the text situation is resolved. Copy/Paste Internet documents like MADM715 is unacceptable. It's been far and away the worst put together course I've ever been a part of. Wren must be getting a barrage of emails based on her emails she sends out Shocking.

I just registered for final 2 courses for summer. I'd have liked to take Data Analytics course but I have zero faith with them putting something of quality together with a new course offering. It's really unfortunate to have to think that. Let us know how it goes.

Will be glad to finish. I hope for the future of the program they get this text situation resolved sooner than later. Bringing in new professor after new professor (and new courses) with the current setup, they've got to find a solution.

@FlaglerAlum2017

ACCT701: Take Ambrosio if an option. This based on taking in Fall AP1 with a text.Not sure how/if this is changed since. He's very helpful with Videos and very prompt in responding to questions.

FIN701: Take Vines if an option. Quality of course is below average IMO (w/o a text) but he does 4-5 Zoom videos for each test. He cares about student success but his MS Word document/text is severely lacking. Contains lots of rambling with little meat to the content. Depending on your finance acumen going in, you're teaching yourself finance for the most part. Concentrate on his study guide.

I see it is offered for Fall AP1 but does not have a professor listed yet.

Ditto was just about to post this. And of COURSE it’s offered the semester I plan to take MKT701 alone :(. I’d still have 2 elective slots left and planned to do MADM752 & 720 that next term, but if I could save myself some writing I definitely would

@craig_miamifl: Didn't you read what that Mcgraw Hill guy wrote? The grass is not always greener on the other side. Look, I hate the free textbooks just as much as you but overall, I think this has been one of the best learning experiences of my life. I've learned so much useful information, a lot of which I can apply to my job right now. I've forged great relationships with other students and professors. I will complete the program in a year's time at which point I'll have an AACSB accredited MBA and no student loans. I would recommend this program in heartbeat to someone looking for an online AACSB accredited MBA program.
