Chow Chow recipe
Posted by CajunPilot1 on 8/12/22 at 8:48 am
Checking in to see if anyone has a chow chow recipe? I've found historical threads with recipes that are based around green tomatoes. The chow chow I am looking to make is centered around cayenne peppers. I've had this growing up and am looking to utilize the abundance of cayenne and jalapeno pepper...

re: ESPN showing Ali vs. Frazier

It’s great that ESPN is showing these throwback fights during these times. I’m younger, so I’ve never really sat down and watched Ali until now.
For me, knowing the results of combat sports do not make me lose interest. I have trouble rewatching a football or baseball game once I know the result...

The 1971 fight was the first fight of the trilogy between Ali and Frazier. Ali goes on to win the next two bouts. I spent majority of the day watching boxing. Tyson’s 1st round TKO against Spinks, after the build up and anticipation, was incredible. ...
Dishwasher

Woke up to water on the floor near the front of my dishwasher. Opened it to find it was filled with water and the other side of the wall (inside the garage) had water as well. Shut off the water and after a couple of hours the water has gone down slowly but not totally.
Could this be a clogged l...
re: Back Yard Drainage
Posted by CajunPilot1 on 1/14/20 at 2:42 pm
I have the same problem. Moved in about 6 months ago. The house does not have gutters. Will this make a big impact to the amount of water holding in my back yard? I plan to add gutters soon. I do not have standing water but the ground is extremely soft after a rain and takes days to dry out....
re: Landscaping help

I believe this is the case as the house does not have gutters. Will confirm this evening. Seems like the flower beds are just overgrown with grass and the rocks I noticed are for drainage against the house.
In that case, killing off the overgrowth and filling beds with mulch (not over rocks) is ...

There is no mulch left. I was thinking about going with a few rounds of poison to kill off the overgrown grass then laying mulch over the rock beds. I have very little experience when it comes to landscaping so any help is appreciated....
Landscaping help
Posted by CajunPilot1 on 1/14/20 at 12:54 pm
Recently purchased a new home that sat on the market for some time. Flower beds in front of the house are overgrown. The beds were once rock beds that have been overtaken by grass and are also holding large bushes. Am I better off pulling everything out of the beds and starting over? Or should I try...

MLB Little League Classic
Posted by CajunPilot1 on 8/19/18 at 4:50 pm
I know there has been a lot of discussion about how the LLWS is losing some of its luster. Example. Kids high fiving an opponent after he hits a HR off of them. But, what MLB is doing with this Little League Classic is incredible. From the MLB players riding on the bus with the kids to them watching...
