When the time comes, I surely will not be the only one to remind you of the post & say adios.

Les Miles always seems to "Les Miles" a couple games a year at least

People are really discounting this upcoming year. We have a ton of talent and experience on defense, a VERY experienced o line, experience and talent with Magee and talent at the easiest transition position with Fournette.

The ONLY worry IMO is qb, but we have done plenty with less talent. Also we have a guy that has been here 1.5 years with Jennings and then Harris with a full spring and summer to learn the playbook.

I just dont see a game on the schedule that the QB will have to make significant plays to win till game 6 at Auburn. Whoever we go with will be ready by then.

Zero, is my guess.
But Cameron increases his odds and it's possible that Grimes could, as well.

So 2013 which loss was on Miles?

You need to come to terms with the fact LSU, like all schools, doesn't field a zero loss team every year.
Miles does better than most, according to LSU W/L record since arriving though.

0. He's got one more run into the playoffs, but don't think we'll win it again.
This. The level of play has declined since the departure of Saban (even considering Miles' NC) and is now entrenched at a level where expectations of another NC are not reasonable. This is an objective opinion and I do hope that situation changes.

We're 2 seasons removed from a 13-0 regular season and SECCG campaign. Saban never did that at LSU. Yes, Saban got a rematch and it was a miserable showing for LSU, but this "decline" is unreasonable IMO. In 2008 and 2009, I thought the decline was real under Miles. But it's not the case now.

Saban is the best CFB ever and having him in the same division is the only reason Miles hasn't won another NC - and he still would have except for a do-over.

I'm no sunshine pumper, but it's unfair to say the program has declined under Miles.

None- the playoff system will require CLM to coach two great games consecutively. This means to win you have to allow your OC and DC alone to do their jobs- I don't think he can do that in a playoff setting.

Best post ever about LM. If he ever wins another national title I will never post on this board again simply because I will have been so very wrong about him. He needs to retire, or be retired, ASAP so the football team can move on.

Move on to what exactly? No other coach has replicated his success. What makes people think the next one will? In fact what program has hit a home run hire three times in a row?

O

He was lucky to win the one he did.

Everything that had to happen that crazy season did at the end, and we snuck into the NC game with 2 losses.
