I imagine to charge her they would HAVE to find elements of a conspiracy between the father and the mother.

A co-conspirator can be charged with murder even if their physical hands are clean.

Best shot for them to get her IMO is to build an air-tight case against Dad and then use that to get him to rat on Mom.

I'd do it the other way around personally. They seem to be developing a solid case against him without her help.

Use him to get her.

I hope they are able to charge her if she's involved. She's definitely suspect, imo.

If convicted, they need to be locked in a damn car until dead.

While it's clear that Ross had some skeletons in the closet, I'm still not sure that it is provable beyond a reasonable doubt that this wasn't still an accident. I feel that the Police and DA have released texts/evidence which only builds the case against him. Why was the text message sent to his wife at 3:00 asking "Have you gone to pick up my buddy yet?" just released? From the defense, mind you.

It's clear they are out to get him, and maybe rightfully so. But to begin their case with the smearing of his character doesn't strengthen their case for murder 1 IMO. I've been emotionally impacted by this case greatly, so maybe my judgement is off here.

What guilty folk think of as "character smearing" other people describe as "probable cause" and "state of mind".

"probable cause"

I agree there's probable cause and the judge made the right decision here today. When they go to trial though I wonder if they will be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he is guilty of premeditation and murder? With the evidence they have released so far I don't believe that they can.

Well I just read this entire thread. I felt a lot of pity for the guy at first, but as the details come out it paints a picture of a true piece of shite that killed his infant son.

Ross Harris was scheduled to meet friends for a 5 p.m. movie, "22 Jump Street," Stoddard said, but he told them he'd be late. He left work at 4:16 p.m., and it would have taken him about 10 minutes to get to the theater, the detective said.

There are a lot of small oddities to this case like this one. Why would he be late? Where was he going before he would go to the movies?

The little details like this and the verbiage he used when he saw his wife for the first time are the most damnable evidence against him for murder imo. Evidence of him sending dick pics to a bunch of women isn't going to convict him of murder.

I think them releasing the sexting stuff was mainly intended to discredit the friends and families testimonies regarding how great a dude he is and how normal he seemed the day of. Yes he was acting normal the day of but he was also sexting multiple girls and no one had any idea about it.

Stoddard testified that before the boy died, Harris had visited the website Reddit to search for articles on life without children, and viewed videos on Reddit that showed people dying -- by suicide or execution, in some cases. Harris had also twice viewed a video that shows the painful death of animals left in hot cars, and had searched for how to survive in prison, according to searches of his laptop, Stoddard said.

The detective said both Harris and his wife, Leanna Harris, seemed unemotional after learning of their son's death. Harris never called 911 after finding the boy unresponsive in his SUV on June 18, Stoddard said.
