i don't disagree

in the grand scheme of things, however, the chance that that presence is a chunky white girl with blonde hair who dresses completely socialized for american culture...is very rare

She just screams hipster douche that parents pay to send her to a third world country so she can come back and hold her nose up to everyone about being "traveled".
Even if she is not American then she is still a douche to go out and buy a Ghanaian flag.

A conversation, even online, provides a bit more context than a person wearing a Ghana flag in an international city.

And as I've said it was only a few people who have taken leadership roles and been condescending.

Anyways, I'm over it and see there are quality posters here who are willing to help

ETS last December. Back home working on my beer gut now. I'm happy to say that I will never be that far north again in my life, and looking forward to never having my balls that cold ever again.

Yes and I think the US actually has pretty good relations, outside of soccer, with Ghana. OT no doubt, just saying.

And yes I get what the OP is saying. Regardless of her nationality she knows she is at a pro-American viewing party and is carrying around the opposition flag. Is that somewhat douchey? Sure. Is she being hostile and antagonizing the crowd around her? Not what I could tell.

Think about it, haven't you ever had a football viewing party and someone invites at least 1 friend who is rooting for the opposing team and they show up in their jersey? Is it annoying as frick? Yeah, but as long as they're not antagonizing the crowd it's nothing to worry about.
