Meh...it usually looks like they take only what they can fit into their new apartment or something and leave the rest behind. Video games stuff is probably low on the totem poll in that regards but it baffles me what some people will leave behind.
I have a car I am advertising right now and after 30 days of no one claiming it the car is mine legally. I have to file for lost title of course but the bank wanted it off the property and I called the police and DMV about how to handle it.
We can't/don't take anything until the bank gives us the OK to clean it out. In pre-foreclosure the people still own the stuff but once the bank finishes the legal process they own it and pay me to get rid of it so they can sell the house. I always walk through and grab anything good before I let my workers loose to trash it out.
