This was a clear tactical answer, there is no reason to leave him in.

I feel bad for KM. Should have been asked for 1 inning. Hell wtf did he even go in? Now he will feel like this was his fault when I was horrible management.

Tip your hat to Houston.....they finished we didn't.

Should we have pulled Bouman after 6? I guess we now know the answer. It was Bouman longest outing.
Here we geaux.

There is NO reason to leave McCune in when you have a 4 run lead and 6 outs to go with your ENTIRE BULLPEN.

This was a HUGE mistake by CPM. He better say this is on him.

That wasn't his biggest mistake, IMO.

Taking Bouman out in the first place was a big mistake, IMO, given the swings that they were getting on him. And, then going to Fury over Broussard in the 8th was equally bad.

McCune should have never been in the game to start with. Houston had been struggling with lefties and we bring in the one pitcher that has no movement on his fastball and a weak breaking pitch. Unbelievable. Good job Mainieri. This one sits squarely on your shoulders for not pitching match up in the 8th.

CPM going to McCune so early and then sticking with him two batters too long killed us

Listen to yourself. He had a clean inning to work with and didn't make it work. He will probably feel bad but he was the one pitching. If he didn't think he could handle it, he should have asked to be taken out of the game.

Doubt Javi said anything non-BBQ related.

That's about the extent of his value-add.

I can actually live with that because he was doing the right thing in a tight game. There was no margin to let the game get out of hand.

For SOME reason he didn't have this sense of urgency with men on and no outs with a bigger lead.

It's like this in every postseason game. Great fans you guys are for knowing this. Either Dunn or Javi always does the postgame until the regional or super regional is over.

Why is Mccune even in?
Where was Bugg or Cartwright? Are we really saving guys for a game that we don't even have to play if we win?

He put the game in the hands of his senior who won the game a week ago.

Was it a gamble? Maybe. Let me say this I thought Bouman should have been given a chance but in baseball you live and die on percentages and your gut.

Well yes I agree.. It's on KM.. He should have pulled himself then called CPM a fricking moron for thinking about keeping him in.

You either leave Bouman in or you pull KM or you put in Broussard over Fury or you just decide compound mistake on top of mistake.

We know which CPM chose.
