The rankings are odd.

Pete Rose had over 4,000 hits. He is the easiest choice of all.

Whoever made this is like the anti-PJ.

These valuations are too shitty to participate.

LF- Williams $4
CF- Griffey $2
RF- Clemente $3
3B- Chipper $1
SS- Wagner $4
2B- Hornsby $5
1B- Foxx $2
SP- Maddux $1
C- Bench $5
RP- Eckersley $2

Total- $29

If this is a roster for 1 game I would take Griffey over Cobb every time, but if it is a roster for 162 games I would spend the extra dollar on Cobb because Griffey's injury concern.

So Mike Trout has been in the league for 2 years and he's already better than Griffey, Cobb, Mays, and Mantle?
Yeaaaaaaaaaaa ok

All in their prime?

SP: Maddux ($1) - as good as the other 4 and cheaper

C: Bench ($5) - best catcher ever and maybe the single best player ever. He is the only player markedly better than the other four in his category.

1B: Pujols ($4) - dominated the league for nearly a decade at the plate and is a pretty damn good glove. Need power, and he has it in spades.

2B: Robinson ($3) - fast, solid defense, with some pop in his bat and the ability to hit everything. Lead off.

SS: The Wizard ($1) - fast, possibly the best defensive shortstop ever (also, where is Derek Jeter), who was clutch, and for a dollar?? Yeah, I'll take him.

3B: Boggs ($2) - This man flat raked. Could hit anything and everything. Not the most power, but he could contribute as a five hole easily. Helluva fielder, too.

RF: Stan the Man ($2) - For $2, couldn't pass this up. Consummate professional, flat out hitter who scared you at the plate.

CF: Griffey, Jr. ($2) - Fast, rangy CF with unbelievable power and presence. At $2, he is an absolute steal.

LF: Bonds ($5) - The best hitter in baseball ever. Period. And a damn good fielder to boot. He makes Manny Ramirez look like a fool.

CP: Rivera ($5) - The best closer in baseball ever. In the off chance that my lineup doesn't paste you over with 20 runs a game, Rivera will come in and dominate you for 1 or 2 innings.

ETA:

Lineup:
Robinson, 2B
Griffey, CF
Bonds, LF
Pujols, 1B
Musial, RF
Boggs, 3B
Bench, C
Smith, SS
Maddux, P

Clarification. Is Bonds the 150 lbs Barry Bonds or the 220lbs Barry Bonds?

So does the idiot that made this think Trout and Tulowitzki are the GOATs at their position?

And if Trout is able to buy where is Puig?

I too think the prices are a little ridiculous, but I'll play for shits and giggles

Wagner- $4
Williams- $4
Mays- $4
Aaron- $4
Rose- $1
Jones- $1
Molina-$4
Robinson-$3
Maddux- $1
Kimbrel- $4

Obviously I'm a bit Braves biased.

Also, Mike Trout is nowhere near the best player in that CF group. Come on.
