he is already the best RB on the team.

Hill was the most talented back in 2012 and it wasn't until October until he got meaningful playing time even with Blue out. If Magee plays well against Wisconsin then he'll get the majority of the carries for at least a few weeks.

1rst game? - 5th game? who knows?

He will carry the ball in the first quarter against Wisconsin unless injured. BOOK IT!

This...but I must say the possibilities are intoxicating. It will help if we can develop a passing.

Barring injury or something unforseen, I don't think there's any way he doesn't get a big chunk of the carries against UW. I very strongly doubt he gets the first snap, but who knows how things will shake out in Fall practice?

I buy the hype and the need for us to run 600+ times this season, so over. I think he'll run the ball around 150-175 times behind a great OL and have a stout ypc. He'll have the second most carries behind Magee IMO and is a special talent that's college ready. I could see the carries breaking down like:

Magee - 200
LF - 170
Hilliard - 120
Williams - 60
QBs - 50

Over. After 5 games he'll have 150 yards in garbage time. Then he takes over the role in which he comes in with fresh legs to take advantage of the worn down defense. He'll thrive in that role, getting 100 yards per game. If we play in the SEC championship game, that puts him over 1000. If not, he might fall just short.

The kid may very well be the best RB we have from the second he steps foot on campus. However, that may not translate into getting the bulk of the carries. Can he come in and rush for 100 a game if he gets the touches? Probably.

However, the question is, how quickly can he pick up on the blocking aspect of college football. There is more to him playing than just getting the football and running with it. That's the part he didn't have to do much of in high school. This is an entirely different level, and likely what keeps him off the field the most.

This. Under by a mile for his freshman year. Hopefully later though, a college career usually does play out over at least a couple of years if not longer.

This, a lot of people have slept on Magee basically since he walked onto campus with all of the bigger names, and all he has done is proven to be a very good back. He deserves to write his his check for the NFL this year. Fournette is special and will get his carries, but this should be Magee's backfield first.
