Thomas is also president of the 100-member Baptist Pastors Fellowship of Detroit and Vicinity, which proclaims on its website the belief in "one man, one woman, for life."

The website also proclaims that homosexuality is not a "valid alternative lifestyle" but is condemned by the Bible as sin.

"We cannot and we will not endorse anyone who blatantly blasphemes the Word of God and leads people in the wrong direction," Thomas tells OneNewsNow.

His last statement is comically ironic considering Thomas and the vast majority if not all of his congregation voted for Obama both times.

Quite a quandary. Thankfully for the left, they are largely intellectually dishonest.

the same Bible which condones slavery and was used for justification for enslaving their ancestors.

Poorly worded.

I presume he was referring to the quest for equal rights rather than the rights themselves. Assuming that, I'd agree wholeheartedly.

So knowing this, why would they vote for the Devil? And by Devil i mean the party who is being led by the Devil. And by that i mean the Devils menions. Not Obama.

I agree that comparing gay marriage to civil rights is a disservice to the civil rights movement, but like the OP said I bet 95% of that congregation voted for the party that supports abortion and gay marriage.

the victim groups the democrats have put their thumb on are beginning to become incompatible

women and islam?
gays and islam?
gays and black people (heavily Christian)?
gays and latinos (heavily Christian)?
islam and atheism?

WTF are these people thinking, they're creating a dangerous compound and it is going to blow up in their face.

none of these groups are victims, but that hasn't stopped the liberals from telling them that and making them believe it. how long before this blows the frick up in their face?

Title VII protection for LGBTs. The Movement is just a few moments away from our collective cultural focus and attention.

They are very different things. It was never against the law for blacks to have sex with each other under Jim Crow, for instance.

Yeah I'd be insulted if I were them. Trying to equate sexual deviancy to the color of one's skin.

Black people as a whole do not support homosexuality. It's been a real problem for the left.

Inner City pastors are out of synch with at least half of their "flock" when it comes to gay rights. Also, black people aren't single issue voters like the Christian Right. I am sure that they are better off under Obama than Romney or McCain.

I think if you are part of a group that has been treated as second class citizens it is absolutely shitty to try and pull the ladder up on others.

I think Blacks had is worse, but at the same time, you have to admit that Gays don't have it great.

I agree with all of this.

This is hilarious. You know this won't amount to anything. Because to make noise would bring division to their liberal agenda. But you got to believe that quietly both sides are fuming.
