lol @ daily interstate closing in baton rouge
we get 75% of all the tractor-trailer traffic in the country coming through nashville on i40 and i cant remember the last time there was an accident on my side of town..and the last time it was closed was 2010 when it flooded over the interstate.

I-10 gets a lot of truck traffic....but it wouldn't shock me if I-40 got more.
I think the I-10 bridge in Baton Rouge is especially bad because of it's break angle, which limits visibility, and the absolutely stupid way that it narrows to one lane on the east side.
Only when I-40 got snowed in last year in Memphis for several days did it resemble the disfunction of I-10 in Baton Rouge....and that was mostly the west side because they don't use plows or salt/brine.
