Design/Architect in BR

Looking to build a house within the next few years. Is there a company in BR that I could bring a floor plan, pictures of designs we want for the house (front of house,outdoor area) and be able to give us a complete set of plans to be able to sub out?

You may try asking on the Money Talk as well...people are always talking about building houses and contractors on that board.

Call Domain Design or Ritter/Maher. Both are friends of mine and can steer you in the right direction.

I wouldn't flan plans drawn up until I was pretty much ready to build - they are pretty expensive, and a lot of stuff can change in 6mnts never mind a few years.

call pelican drafting service in br. i've used them for my house drawings for years. good idea guys and great prices.

That's pretty much how it works.
They charge so much for the plans+ engineering stamp.
Look to spend $10-$20K for plans. (depends on size of project)

you may be just as well off with a design build contractor

My buddy that builds houses told me to look into this drafting (specifically houses), his guy is beyond backed up and is having to pass work on to another local guy.
There are no schools around here with direct CAD programs. I have no experience. Might be a pipe dream, just wanted to entertain the suggestion.
