What would be the top dollar amount that you would pay for Blanton's until you say "That's too much!". This would be actual retail price and not some person from the Internet.

Probably will depend on the stock of other bourbons. If you have other choice around fifty, if the other similar alternatives become hard to find, closer to 65.

I ask because I am aware that it is not as easy to find as a couple of years ago in Baton Rouge. Up north in my state liquor stores it retails for $55. I remember it was only a few years ago that it was about $45 in Baton Rouge. Wow

That's why I stick with Bulleit.

so you will pay $45, but wont pay $55?

$60 would probably be the most. I paid $56 for it last week, but it's hard to find it in Abbeville, so it was cheaper to buy it for $56 here than $49 in Lafayette (I'd have to drive 20 miles).

I know that I have seen it in BR for $45. I cannot find it in BR for $45 right now. Another state has excess of Blanton product, albeit $10 more per bottle. I am asking, what would be the price where you would say "That's too much"? $65? $75? That is what I am wondering.
Yes, a bottle has been purchased for me.

Try the Beverage Store. I know they have some, not sure of the price, but if someone had it for $45 in BR, it would be them

I picked up a bottle of Blanton's at Matherne's last night for $49.99. They also had Pappy sitting on the shelf! So of course I bought a bottle of that as well.
