Considering the new stadium in Omaha, this team actually has a good shot if they can get there. Gorilla ball doesn't work there, definitely a pitcher's park.

this.

gorilla ball was exciting if all you liked is homeruns. which is not baseball. it made below average baseball players serviceable. 2008-2009 was the best it was going to get. and the NCAA ruined it

Changed bats in 99-Championship in 00
Not much struggle there.

I give my vote to the whole 1999-2010 era.
You needed good pitching, but a hot offense could be powerful too.
