I like Guru (and GangStarr), but wasn't really feeling the music for this. too subdued.

The LSU spot is way better than most. The Tennesse one, IMO, is the worst. I agree ours could have been better, but I enjoyed it. There was a lot of Mike, but he is the living embodiment of LSU sooo...

The Tennessee one is actually my favorite one. In 2011 I went to the LSU UT game and sang the song with their fans quite a bit. It helped that we were stomping them into the ground, but for some reason I just really like it. I know people hate that it gets played 100 times a game, but it doesn't seem to bug me. I liked the touch of having the mother sing it to her child. It was different, which made it better to me.

As a current student, I think it's awesome. All you old farts need to chill out, come walk by mike's cage in the mornings when he is frisky, that cat is having a ball. No one outside of LSU would know or give a damn about Alex box.

Showcasing Mike was fine. The music selection could have been more LSU enhancing. There is music that identifies with the university. That rap did nothing for the spot.

I like the video portions but what the heck is that song? It has no connection to LSU and does not make since with the footage. I bet any editor worth his salt can take that footage and add just the fight song and the video is 10 x's better....

I don't really like LSUs, but whatever.
I did LOL that they make it a point in the UF video to tell you it's never left hand on top, always right on left....then this is in their commercial.

I think South Carolinas and Bamas do a good job of portraying who they are. I also like the Tennessees.

It was ok... Definitely not the best one. Love Guru, but it would have been insane if they just used Neck or any other song from the band. I really liked Auburns video.
