No pic? And we are only 5 games under 0.500, right where we need to be. Don't want to go out too hot and fade during the dog days of summer
Eta: see pic now

Strong Belgian Golden Ales can be quite tasty, but we wanted to make one with a little more complexity and depth and wanted to do so without digging into the spice cabinet to achieve this. Ultimately, the key to the recipe is the addition of rye and finding the right yeast. Oh, and 10% ABV.
Here are brewer Casey Motes’ thoughts on this recipe: “The goal of this beer was to make a Belgian/American hybrid using West Coast American hops and rye to emulate the fruit and spices often found in Belgian beers.
The beer pours a bright golden color. The nose is a mixture of phenolics from the Belgian wit yeast and light citrus from the American hops with a touch of graininess. Rye adds sweetness and complexity to the pilsner and aromatic malts. The spice of the rye is somewhat subdued at lower temperatures but becomes more apparent as the beer warms. Cascade and centennial hops were used for both flavor and aroma, adding floral and citrus notes to play off the strengths of the yeast.

FBD Founders Centennial after another long day staring into the computer screen.
That sounds like a good night. Hadn't been to a pro game in awhile. May try to catch the Nats next month while I'm in DC

Been waiting on a thread all afternoon. Here we go.
FBD
1763 Porter by Tipping Point Brewery in Waynesville, NC. Overly roasted and not great.
2BD Chunky Gal by Tigging Point Brewery. Essentially flavorless
3BD is a 10 oz. pour of Lupulin Lab 05256 from Wicked Weed. Really outstanding. This varietal I could see being named. It was single hopped.
4BD is a La Peche Blanc from Wicked Weed. Peach and apricot with sour with Brett. Nice wheaty finish on it. Really interesting and I liked it.
Beers 5-10 Coffee Dark Saison, Infidel Porter, Dark Age Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout, Reverence (sour BPA in Cab barrels), Sauvage Wine Barrel Saison, and the Sovereign Belgian Stout. The Dark Age was FANTASTIC
11BD Green Man IPA with dinner. Banh Mi taco made with tofu (shocked the shite out if me, really good), Roasted Duck with mole taco, and a buffalo chicken taco.
