Saw Sosa hit his 600th, in Arlington, against the Cubs.

I was sitting on the 3rd base line. It was pretty cool considering it was against the Cubs and lots of Cubs fans were there to see it happen.

Though it was kind of bittersweet, you knew deep down it wasn't a legit accomplishment.

I saw A Rod break the grand slam record. I'm sure I've seen single game records but that was kind of cool even though he's a douche

I saw Jim Abbott's no hitter in Yankee stadium in '93.
I didn't realize he only had one hand until after the game. It's the only mlb game I've attended.

I saw Cal Ripken Jr. break the consecutive games played record. Saw him do it again the next day as well.

I guess I have. I saw Ozzie Smith get his 2000th hit. I was one night away from seeing Bonds hit his record setting HR in San Fran. He had his pitch to hit and just missed it.

Its kinda funny that I haven't seen more historic performances with the number of baseball games I saw in person as a kid.

Only ones I can think of right now is Ryan Freel breaking the Reds single game record for steals in a game with five back in 2005 against the Dodgers.

ETA: Forgot I saw the Rangers hit seven homers in a game back in 2003 against Cleveland. At the time it was a team record but it no longer is now.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the only shutout on BCS history...

Anyway, I saw Martell Webster light up the Jazz for 24 points in the 3rd quarter back in 08 or 09. Was a Blazer record until Lillard broke it this year.

I watched a D'backs game AFTER Randy Johnson threw 20 K's. I still think about it from time to time.

Flipper Anderson

Drew Brees consecutive game TD streak

Drew Brees first 5,000 yard season game. Missed Marino's record by one pass

40 first downs

Saints only NFC Championship and Super Bowl wins

Shaun Alexander in Tiger Stadium

The Earthquake Game set a seismic record, I guess

Barry Bonds' 70th home run

I doubt it's the only one, but I saw Tony Womack hit an inside the park grand slam

Saw Randy strikeout 20 Reds' batters in 9 innings in 2001. It tied the MLB record, but he didn't officially get to go in the record book because the game went into extras, even though he came out after 9. It was still awesome.
