They have definitely taken the "seperation of the group" opportunity to expand the characters.

I think this season has made up for last season. Last season wasn't as good as the others imo.

Zombies in TWD decay at a slower than normal rate. If you go through every season you can see the processes of decaying going on.
No it doesn't happen like it would a normal body because of something to do with the virus or whatever is causing the zombie attacks

this has been the best season since season one, and even better than that.
great episode tonight... the character development is something we've been missing... especially with knowing daryl's background now.
it's like episodes are focusing on the characters backstories now like michonne and daryl... good to have the backstory on them and see what makes them who they are
the posters shitting on this show are really missing some good TV

I was about to give up on this show but I'm all in again. And I have no problem at all with devoting complete episodes to each scattered group from the overall Prison clan.

I don't really care for the episodes dedicated to 2 or 3 characters alone. But the overall quality of the show has been pretty dang good so maybe I'm wrong about that.
I thought it was strange that they said this was the only episode to date that featured only two of the main cast members. I know the Rick/Carl one also had Michone in it at the very end but I thought there were a couple pretty much devoted just to the Governor. Maybe I misheard what they said.

I really like what Gimple is doing with this season. You can tell he was dealt a rough hand with the way Mazzara left the Governor arc last year. He actually did great with wrapping that up, and now the Walking Dead that is all his is awesome. Early reviews was last nights episode would suck but I was presently surprised. Maybe it "sucked" because it was so Beth/Daryl heavy and the people writing those reviews were admitted Daryl/Carol shippers.
