How much would I have to make?

I need $10,000 per month to pay bills (including a butt load of student loan debt). What does my monthly salary need to be? I live and work on Mississippi.

Sounds like the American dream

I'd look at cutting back on your other expenses. Even $300k in student loans is roughly $3400/mo
$6600/mo in non student loan expenses is a ton.

We've cut them back pretty far. $10,000 includes food, gas, etc. also, we lost our arse when we moved and couldn't sell our previous home for nearly a year and when we did it was for a big loss. I drive a single can 07 pick up and the wife has a 10 Honda pilot so we're not really living beyond our means. Another issue is the public schools here are horrible so we pay a pretty penny for private school for 2 kids.
It is what it is. I'm just glad I'm in a position I can provide for my family.

Okay, so assuming the $300k in student loans, and then $10k/kid for private school. Which I'm probably exaggerating because I don't see a MS school charging that much.
That leaves $4740/mo in food, gas, mortgage, utilities, and healthcare. Seems doable, but idk.

CE Tiger is right. Looking at about $200K. That's factoring in around 8-10% savings for retirement. Could be a little more or less depending on your tax situation (itemized deductions/marital status/dependents/etc).

If you can't figure that out you'll never get a job making it.

Something still isn't adding up. I'm thinking this is a money board troll or your arse is eating out at Ruth's Chris three times a week and going to Europe three times a year.

Yeah cutting back to get to 10k...something doesn't smell right.

It could happen. Go to Tulane to seek a degree in Literary Criticism, pay $100K for it, and on top of that have a medical emergency while uninsured.
But someone in that position probably won't be making $200K anytime soon.

Good luck finding that job. Also 200k a year would be absolutely SLIDING by any unplanned expenses and you are gong to be taking on more loans.
