The tip broke off my Benchmade Stryker. I'm not really that mad because it was getting old and performed well for several years. Currently carrying a kershaw I have as a backup but I want to get another Benchmade.

Any recommendations?

Mini Griptilian. That's what I carry.

A straight edge mini griptillian is perfect IMO.

Get a Kabar, you may have to get some cargo pants or something with bigger pockets, but at least you can say you carry a US knife

Mini grip is legit.
I also have a mini ritter. It's similar to the grip, just different blade shape and material. I agree with the whole straight blade as well fwiw.

I'd definitely send it back to Benchmade. Unless it was "abused" (as in used like a crowbar ), it has a lifetime warranty.

Heck, you can even send Benchmades back for free sharpening, for the life of the knife. Surely they'll make good on one that broke.

Spyderco Military combo blade. Please no black coating

I abuse mine, and have been for the past few years. Still going strong. S30V is tough

I've been carrying one of three different CRKT knives for the past few years. One is folding and clips on my belt or pocket. The other 2 are sheathed and held with my belt. One in particular has been on my side everyday for work for over a year and it has been thoroughly abused. It still amazes how well it keeps an edge. CRKT's site

This one in particular has seen a ton of abuse and is still in perfect shape. SPEW

I also have a Case that I carry in my pocket most days. I actually hate using it because I like it so much but it's extremely sharp out the box. Many people swear by them and I'll attest mine has been well worth the $65.
