Did the Heimlich on my boss at his daughter's wedding, didn't even get a raise. He did come pat me on the shoulder later and said "Thank you boy" and went back to eating again.
Ran the Pike's Peak Ascent in 3 1/2 hours, top 1/3 of racers and all 50 states and 15 countries represented. Almost died that day.
Playing baseball ran down a ball and made an over the shoulder catch, stopped, then threw out runner at second. If only I could hit.....
Married way over and out of my league, still got her hooked after over 30 years. Yes I am the man.

I could have just changed my diet and I would have lost like 40 lbs
I've done this twice. First time was when I got out of college. Went from 290ish to about 265, so that's 25 lbs. Hung out there for a couple years, then this summer I dropped to 220. I've been hanging out around 220 since September or so.
Keeping it off hasn't really been that difficult either. I haven't worked out since the 11th grade. I stay pretty active, but I just don't have the appetite I used to and it's just easy to control for me now.
I think I'll have to start working out to get any lower. But, then again, we'll be back to being more active on the farm next month so I might can drop a little more without working out.

In 5th grade, I went to the state math bowl. One of the competitions was mental math. It was done in levels and each kid was asked to answer a math question that grew in difficulty with each level until there was one kid left (ie level 1 was add 2 two digit numbers, level 2 was subtract 2 two digit numbers, etc.).
The second kid went out after 5 levels, and they let me keep going until I got one wrong. I completed every level they had (13), the last being dividing 2 four digit numbers. Nobody has ever gone as far as I did that year.

I'd have to say that the most amazing thing I've ever done is not drown in the rip tide off of Cancun...
Me and my idiot friends were all tripping on acid because (I guess) flying on Aero Mexico wasn't enough of a terrifying adventure. We got to our hotel, checked in, ordered giant drinks in cocoanuts, and staggered out to the beach. For whatever reason, I felt immediately compelled to be at one with the water. Maybe I just needed to pee...
I went from being in waist deep water, to neck deep, to can't touch the bottom in three waves. RIP CURRENT! That's when I realized that I might drown on my first day of vacation. frick THAT shite!!! If I'm to meet a watery death in a foreign country, I want it to be on the LAST day of vacation!
At this point, I'm bored writing this story and I'm more than certain that you're bored reading about it (TL, DR). So, in summation, I was able to fall back on my training (BSA & Red Cross WSI) to calmly assess the situation. I was able to not only save my own dumb arse, but also a that of a total stranger (She wasn't an OT, or even an IRL,
10).
From the moment I dragged myself and the stranger back on to the beach, it was open bar for the rest of the week. If the hotel wasn't buying, the girl's friends and family, or people who saw it happen, were all more than happy to buy me another drink I didn't need. I stayed in the swimming pool for the rest of the week.

Got my head bashed in with a golf club, and when the doctor said I would likely die, be in a vegetative state, or best case be retarded for the rest of my life, I woke up the next day fine with just a big headache and half of my skull in a cast.
