Whenever I feel I want a drink, I drink. When fishing, I've popped a top as soon as 8ish.

This for me too. After duck hunting, beer drinking could begin as early s 8 AM but then again, you are 4 hours into the day. Bloody Mary's if I am at a camp and I am not driving.

Destin beach, as soon as the umbrella marks the territory. Could be 9 AM.

Other than that, normal non-alchoholic hours.

Woke up at 0430 to start loading mardi gras float one year, drinking beer before 0500. that's the earliest for me, but I see no need to justify it. If you want to start drinking, by all means go ahead and have some

I'll wake up with a manmosa the day of Endymion, typically around 9. I don't see any problem with it.

Unless I'm at an airport or a UGA tailgate I don't think I can start before a brunch at noonish.

Unless it's an LSU football gameday I like to limit myself to after 12 p.m.

Depends on if I have something to do that day or not. Nothing planned? I don't need justification. I just start drinking. Something to do in the afternoon? Better have a drink early. Something going on all day? Better not drink.

If you have loved ones who depend on you, five pm. If you're dead on the inside and have given up on life, whenever.

If you're talking starting at a morning hour (and not still drinking at an early morning hour from the night before) and drinking something other than a traditional breakfast drink, then the earliest I've started was one year for Mardi Gras at 7:00 AM.

I ran the Eunice mardi gras years ago and we started the day at daylight with shots of bourbon and boiled eggs.
