How is Aaron Hill already better than Todd Walker?

Hill will surpass Walker this season in most categories and he still has many years left.

Alvin Dark & Joe Bill Adcock definitely
I think Joe Bill Adcock was a two sport guy...also played basketball.
My uncle grew up with him, stayed in touch over the years and had some some great stories about him and another north Louisiana major leaguer, Clint Courtney.

I feel like this at least has to be in the discussion. Not a gaudy numbers guy, but there when it counted, two years in a row.

Brian Wilson is the most cared about player.

The answer is Albert Belle. It's not really debateable.

Albert "don't call me Joey" Belle. He was a monster.

Pre PED's a season like that was ELITE. I remember looking on the back of base ball cards and seeing a guy had 40 HR's and going Whoa

As a hitter, no one even close the Albert Belle that came out of LSU.
Pitching, Ben McDonald was by far the greatest talent and was off to a really solid pro career before his arm gave out (think it was in his 7th year). Paul Byrd and Wilson also with fine careers.

Had he survived Mike Miley could have been the answer.
Belle is the clear choice here.

Not the best, but I just wanted to remind others that Brad Hawpe had a fine pro career.
Or, as he was known at LSU, "Bad Hop."
