Give me Michael Keaton.
I loved Keaton. I love the Nolan movies, too.
Now you really want a hard question, who was the better Joker?
EDIT: I'd also like to add that if Fox and WB ever settle their dispute over the rights to the Adam West series and release it on DVD, I will own every episode.

Ledger but only because the script was better.

Ledger because he actually did some acting.

They did. It's supposed to come out this year sometime.

Michael Keaton was a good Batman, but after watching the movie again recently, the movie is shite
whoa! shite?
I think the two Keaton films have held up quite nicely as these awesomely weird 80s/noire batman comics
love them. the fricking script in batman returns keep it from being awesome. Keaton/Pfeiffer/DeVito all had about 3 or 4 really cringe inducing lines

Kevin Conroy
Well yeah if we're talking ANYONE ever, then this.
TAS also had the best Joker, clearly.

pretty damn easily actually. Mark Hamill by a country mile
though ledger's is my favorite.

kevin conroy was a legit batman...like Keaton, and also like Keaton
he was a terrible fricking wayne. Still hate that fricking inflection.

Who knows, he may be good. Heath Ledger surprised me
The internets reaction to Ledger being cast is some hilarious stuff.

I haven't seen Returns recently, but after watching Batman last week, I came to the conclusion that it's a Batman-themed Tim Burton movie, and yes, it's shite to me.

I see its flaws, but I just love movies shot on a lot with sets. I also think the accompanying soundtrack is perfect. I really like it. I may be bias. Batman was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. It is the reason I love the type of movies that I do. shite Paddy, you may have convinced me to give it another watch tonight

Not a terrible assessment. I love Tim Burton movies, though. He was the perfect director at the time to do it.

That makes me sad. Its really a good movie, changes to the origin story aside.

I'm actually having a hard time believing that people really enjoyed Beetle... I mean Keaton as Batman. It was a joke. Maybe I couldn't get past Johnny Dangerously or Mr. Mom being Bruce Wayne but he's awkward on screen as Wayne and even less believable is that Keaton in a Batsuit is going to kick somebody's arse. Burton's Batman movies are horrible. Was then and still are. I'm just guessing people are feeling nostalgic for those movies b/c they were kids when the movie came out. People lauding it as cutting edge at time are forgetting it's a Burton universe and it is.was hokey.
And don't even get me started about Prince's Batdance.

I can only imagine how you feel about that next director's universe. I forget his name now. Frick.
He made Batman and Robin into the ambiguously gay duo for real.

Briefly put, the most talented songwriter went full paycheck minded and threw together sampled up garbage with multiple themes laid down on simple drum machine using multi tempo beats. sadly, the masses ate it up and that is probably his song that stayed at No. 1 the longest. [/insertJokerlaugh]
