I doubt anyone really believed that. Vasquez, Jack...they are decent backups. Jack had his career year after he left, but neither was a player here when the other team clamped down on the D in the last 4 minutes.

Vasquez was bad. His defense was non-existent. Because of his lack of speed, the offense took an eternity to get in motion. Having said that, the guy played hard, probably to the max of his ability.

I spent so much time on here last year arguing about how I didn't think Vasquez was our PG of the future. Dell did a great job I bringing in a true great point guard, this team is built to run and score at a fast rate, and with Vasquez we'd still be a slow low scoring offense, I'd do the same trade for jrue again and again, yeah it'd be nice to have Vasquez instead of Roberts but I'd take jrue and tyreke all day over Vasquez
