you do know that Boise had to play over 20 freshmen this year because of injuries and suspensions right?

Love that podcast and have been listening to it for 4 years now. It's fantastic. Of course, I'm not a fan of Sark, so we may not have heard the last of the Seven Win Steve song.

Speaking of, to the UDub fan who was refuting my generalization that he was "beloved" for sevens, it was more ado to those who would write/call into the Solid Verbal ardently defending him on the regular. As a fan/alum of a program who was similarly told for years during the Houston Nutt era that we couldn't do any better, my hat is definitely off to Washington.

Not everyday that a program's coach bails on it and they end up upgrading.

Plus, I've always been impressed with how he won 11 games in 2012, which was the year after they lost Kellen Moore and all of those seniors off the 2011 team that was supposed to contend for a BCS title.

LOL, you don't know what you're talking about. UW is not second fiddle to anything in Seattle. When the Seahawks and Huskies are both good, both get a lot of love.

He's trolling, Gold.

Arkansas football isn't second fiddle to anything in Fayetteville because IT'S FAYETTEVILLE. Great job, Feral, your team's more popular than going to Red Robin.

LOL okay.

The Hawks are on a path to the Super Bowl while Washington just got to 8 wins for the first time in a decade.

BTW, second fiddle to a good NFL team is hardly an insult. Butthurt not needed.

i'm not sure it's a great move

At Boise he was able to get Cali kids who couldn't academically make it to PAC12 schools, or had troubled past. Those days are over

Not sure he can out recruit USC,UCLA,Oregon, etc, when on their playing field.

Rawdawgs- Is that a high school football stadium? Looks like Huntsville High. Nice marina though.

Good move for UW, Petersen and his family. Hope it works out for him. Maybe get this machine back to Don James level.

Imagine USC with Petersen..

Washington is my favorite state. Pacific NW > anywhere else. Also maybe he doesn't won't to deal with bat shite crazy arse fans at programs like USC. I'm not surprised at all he is at UDUB. Plus cannabis is legal!

The contract is 5 years, $18 million plus incentives. So $3.6 million/year. That makes him the highest paid coach in the Pac-12 apparently.
