True. The Tiger fan base has been to Atlanta many times since 2000. Plus when nothing short of a BCS bowl is demanded by the faithful , going to A second class bowl is frowned upon.

Let Curley Hallman back through the gates for a few years, and Chic-a-fil-a will sound mighty tasty again.

That's not how it works at all. Otherwise, the team that loses in the SEC Championship would always play in the Sugar if one team is in the national title game. Also, some bowls only pick SEC East teams and some only pick SEC West teams.

Because it is in Atlanta-America's worst city by leaps and bounds. Omaha is more fun and had more character.

The only location that would be worse for a bowl game in America would be the halls of Congress.

Any bowl game with the word 'Chick" in it is unappealing.

The chick fil a picks after 5 other bowls have selected the team that they want. That is exactly how it works. Last year, LSU was the 6th most desired team in the SEC.

Hate is probably an overstatement--just tired of it after a relatively large number of appearances in the past 13 years.

Although the thought of getting a shot at putting another beatdown on da U is appealing.

"the matchup against an uninteresting ACC opponent, and the feeling of disappointment at not getting a better bowl."

win when we should and the better bowls will come. Last year was a little more than uninteresting IMO.

First off, as a fan of college football, I am grateful to anybody who wants to spends some money to fund a post season game. So, at a minimum, I'm a Peach-Bowl lover, not hater.

That said, I there is room for improvement::
Chick-Fil-A is not an important enough part of America to deserve to have its name on a New Year's Eve (or New Year's Day) bowl game. If Chick-FIl-A had better chicken (they are no match for Popeye's) and served butter-milk biscuits all day then they would be more deserving.

Other naming improvement are possible. A decent compromise solution like renaming it:
"The Peach Bowl presented by Chick-Fil-A"
"The Chick-Fil-A sponsored Peach Bowl"

... or if Chick-Fil-A would I) start making some seriously good chicken (like Popeyes) AND II) start serving orders of chicken in a bowl... then they (Chick-Fil-A) would actually create a functional reason to call it "the Chicken-Bowl".

My choice is: just call it the "Peach Bowl". The game itself is great, I just don't like obnoxious sponsors trying to usurp parts of history.

I actually agree with this. I wish they'd go back to Peach Bowl and Citrus Bowl. But for some reason I like "Outback Bowl" better than "Tangerine Bowl" or "All American Bowl" or whatever the bowl in Tampa was prior to the "Outback Bowl." It should be the "Peach Bowl Presented by Chick-Fil-A."

How about a "Popeye's Bowl"? Nah, it doesn't work.

What a terrible question . There are a lot better bowls to be in vs better teams . And Atlanta really sucks

CapOne is higher in the pecking order than Chick-fil-a if I'm not mistaken. I just moved out of Atlanta after living there for over 10 years. There is very little excitement around this bowl in the city, it doesn't have a great history or pageantry to it and to be honest, Atlanta is a big, boring city. Just don't see how fans get excited for this bowl.
