You are welcome to call the Tuscaloosa PD but I doubt your going to visit the hospital and let them collect "evidence" like this girl did.
I'm not sure what your point of view is but if the girl put herself through this investigation and there is actual evidence she's been raped then this is really a bad situation. (If there is evidence). If there wasn't any evidence this would have already been thrown out. This looks really bad for Tallahassee PD having an open investigation 11 months later without one of the 2 witnesses being interviewed.
To me it sounds like a classic case of he said/she said, except she went and got examined and they found evidence of rape.

The only facts we know are that a sexual assault was claimed. The person identified is between 5'9" and 5'11" with straight hair. The case was closed due to lack of evidence/information in February and then re-opened at the request of the media. Winston has not been interviewed, charged, or arrested.
Oh and TMZ's headline last night claimed Andy Kaufman is still alive. But keep praying this is true Bama/Aggie fans -- stay classy.

Not reading 9 pages, but this jumped out at me:
I think they didn't have enough evidence to go forward, and the case was dropped. Now that Jameis is looking at a Heisman, the alleged victim went to the media, and the media demanded the police department to reopen the investigation. This isn't the first time this has happened to a high profile athlete.

I understand that she was drunk.
But how did she get the the possible height of 5'9"
Unless he just rushed her or something.
I wonder if its possible another player did it....and she just got them mixed up because...he's you know...
ETA: Also Clay Travis points out that Jameis Winston is close to the 240 that was reported..
However, if anybody saw Jameis play football in the spring/baseball..
He wasnt close to 240. (I know the incident happened before then, but he was a true freshman last year....he was much thinner than he is now..)

Could have also been a tpd officer who tipped off the media. I believe the tallahassee democrat requested the case re-opening

Gotcha. Either way, it just comes off a bit odd to me. I know one thing, it doesn't take almost a year for a police department to investigate these types of cases.
